Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi (HIMAPRO-AK) is an organization under the Faculty of Economics and Business, Khairun University, which plays an important role in helping students, especially in the field of Accounting to develop their skills. In 2025, Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi (HIMAPRO-AK) is organizing an international accounting competitionnamed the International Accounting Competition (IAC).
The International Accounting Competition (IAC) is a program initiated by the Perguruan Tinggi Kemahasiswaan dan Kepemudaan (PTKP) and has become an annual event for the Accounting Program at Khairun University. The purpose of this activity is to provide a platform for Accounting students to develop their creativity and productivity in the field of accounting and to address several issues that often arise on campus, including increasing students’ understanding of current accounting concepts, both in the context of economics and accounting calculations. Additionally, this activity also aims to provide participants with a more in-depth competitive experience, boost their confidence, and teach them teamwork skills.
Therefore, the theme for the third year is “Bridging Innovation and Integrity: Increasing the Professionalism of Accountants in the Global Era.” This theme is expected to encourage and motivate the younger generation of accountants to compete with visionary and globally-oriented thinking, so that the younger generation can adapt to an increasingly modern world. This activity is expected to be a momentum to strengthen the commitment to change for the better.
